What Tumblr supports in Nitty Music Social

Character limits, media rules and how these settings appear in the app.

Overview

Every setting on Tumblr is optional: a post with no settings at all is valid. One Tumblr account can be connected as several channels, one per blog, so the destination blog is a property of the channel rather than of the post.

Properties

__type	string	✅	Must be "tumblr"
title	string	❌	Post title, up to 4096 characters
link	string	❌	URL the post links to. Must be a valid URL
sourceUrl	string	❌	Attribution URL for reblogged or quoted content
tags	string	❌	Comma-separated tags, up to 4096 characters

Media

Tumblr accepts up to 30 images, or a single video, per post.
